Disable Extended Network

Is there anyway to disable the extended network, or 1X service as an example? We have an application that unfortunately doesn't work on the 1X network. We would like the iPad to ONLY connect over the cell network via 3G or 4G LTE, and nothing less.. Can this be set in Apple MDM?
